When I first got in college, I wanted to study Psychology in hopes of
becoming a Psychologist or Psychiatrist. Even though I'm more of a talker
than a listener, I like
hearing about problems. Unfortunately, when I got
into college, I failed the first Psychology course I ever took, so my career
came to a crashing halt before it ever began.
Needless to say, I still help a lot of peeps with their problems.
I had a friend shoot down my opinions about marriage one day because he
said I don't know what I'm talking about since I've never been
married. I thought about that and wondered, how naive is that?
Then I realized, he's bitter because he's divorced and I'm not. I
mean, if I can't have an opinion about marriage since I've never been
married, then I suppose he can't have an opinion about War or the
Presidency because he's never fought in a war or been president
huh?
Ridiculous.
I've seen my parents live up to their vows and death did them
part. I've seen family and friends raise children, get married,
divorced, etc. I think I'm qualified to have an opinion about
marriage.
Anyways, browse some of the links to get some insight into my gulliver
("you know, the inside of me brain" ... Malcolm McDowell said
that in A
Clockwork Orange).
